Why the lap timer “Qstarz BL-1000GT” is better than its previous generation “Qstarz BT-Q1000eX”?

BL-1000GT has 8GB memory(MicroSD card). BT-Q1000ex has only 8MB memory(flash).
BT-1000GT has built-in G-Sensor. BT-Q1000ex doesn’t.
BT-1000GT has Free IOS and Android APPs. BT-Q1000ex doesn’t.
